Thanks for your message. At present, the only "officially" sponsored AT&T User Groups are here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mark Dill (AT&T Public Relations) is working on forming similar groups across the country. I think it'd be great that ALL of our groups be in contact. I don't have Mark's phone number handy (and he doesn't seem to have a Usenet address), so let's stay in touch either via e-mail or unix-pc.general or comp.sys.att On which newsgroup did you see my posting? This is important to be sure that maximum coverage is achieved. At present, the "local" AT&T groups are comprised mostly of people owning the 6300, 6312 and 6386 systems, but I've formed the informal SIG for the UNIX PC. There's a LOT of us out there as witnessed by the incredible amount of mail I've received today. Perhaps the unix-pc.* newsgroup can be the offical forum for sharing info amongst all of us. Your thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. I believe it would be beneficial also to conduct these meeting discussions in the newsgroups (e.g. unix-pc.general and comp.sys.att) just so that we attract the max audience. I'm still attempting to get some more phone lines (at home) so I can put one system on a dedicated line; the trunk in my area (presently) has insufficient copper to bring in more lines inexpensively. Sigh. Thad Thad Floryan [thad@cup.portal.com (OR) ...!sun!portal!cup.portal.com!thad]
