About 2 weeks ago, it started reporting a parity error. I reported it to them on a Monday morning. They suggested dropping TSRs, etc. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, I tried several alternatives, none of which worked. Thrusday morning, they decided to swap the mother board. Friday, the local Honeywell-Bull repairman showed up with a new board, which went in within 20 minutes. Unfor- tunately, it didn't work, so on Monday, they scheduled another swap out. Accomplished Tuesday afternoon. Since then, things have been flawless. Dell's response was satisfactory (I have a working machine), despite the fact that the problem should never have occured the first time, and the second board should have been good.
