Bakin) Organization: Rational Lines: 28 --- I would like to get more information on the "Virtual Control Program Interface" (VCPI). Does anyone know where I can get the information? Perhaps it could be E-mailed to me? According to the PC Week that just arrived: "Both Desqview and Omniview's 386-control programs are compatible with the Virtual Control Program Interface (VCPI). The VCPI is a standard industry interface promulgated by Desqview, Qualitas and the developers of protected-mode software tools (Phar Lap Software Inc., A.I. Architects Inc., and Rational Systems Inc.(*)) It allows concurrent use of protetcted-mode DOS programs, such as Paradox/386, Foxbase/386 and Interleaf Publisher, and multiple DOS programs operating in real-mode. I haven't seen it discussed in this newsgroup. Thanks -- Dave (*) Rational Systems Inc. is not the same company as Rational. ---------------------------------------------------------- Dave Bakin (408) 496-3600 c/o Rational; 3320 Scott Blvd.; Santa Clara, CA 95054-3197 Internet: dsb@rational.com Uucp: ...!uunet!igor!dsb ...!{elxsi|sun}!aeras!igor!dsb ---------------------------------------------------------- Dave Bakin (408) 496-3600 c/o Rational; 3320 Scott Blvd.; Santa Clara, CA 95054-3197 Internet: dsb@rational.com Uucp: ...!uunet!igor!dsb
