Other ways of changing file attributes: Norton Utilities NU.exe program - go to the directory containing the files in question, then move the cursor to the HID column and hit the space bar. (This will make sense when you actually get to that point.) Norton also has a program called FA.exe (File Attributes) which will do the same job.
