Disk error -43 is a "file-not-found" error.  My best guess is that you
are opening a file with some software, deleting it from your disk (with
a finder-like DA, perhaps?), and then trying to save the changes you've
made to the file in memory.  This is the only instance of an error -43 I
have ever seen.  If anyone else has seen it poking around, I'd like to
know what circumstances bring it up as well.
