If you want to use Adobe screen fonts to print on your ImageWriter, all you need is the Adobe screen fonts and Font/DA Mover. The Adobe screen fonts are not public domain, but they are available for downloading from the Adobe Forum on CompuServe. I am not sure what restrictions, if any, Adobe places on transferring screen fonts from one user to another, but there may be none. I'm not sure why you mention NFNTs. NFNTs are simply FONTs with a different resource type and with no encoding restrictions on the resource ID. The only benefits of NFNTs are (1) the ability to have font numbers greater than 255, and (2) integration of stylistic variations into a single family, instead of having separate families (separate font menu items) for each style. NFNTs are supported by the 512E, Plus, and later models of Macintosh. Their use was not feasible, however, until Font/DA Mover 3.8 was released, as earlier versions of Font/DA Mover would not move them.
