To run it without a bomb, I turn off multifinder, the RAM cache, and remove all inits and most cdevs. It still bombs occasionally with id=1. This is while trying to do a file by file backup of the entire hard disk. System setup: Mac II, 5M RAM, CMS pro-102k/i hard disk, datadesk keyboard. I also have SUM stuff installed, though I remove the Shield Init before attempting the backup. Any ideas? Whats a bomb id=1 mean anyway? Help!
