I really dislike having information about a trap in two or more different volumes. There was discussion at the last Developer Conference about publishing IM and tech notes on CD/ROM. I'm always looking for that piece of information that I saw somewhere but can't remember whether it was in IM somewhere or in a tech note. I'd love to be able to do quick machine searches for for information. Also consider the cross-referencing possibilities. Two problems that come to mind are the cost of the CD/ROM player and the inability of single machine developers to look up something while rummaging around in memory after a system bomb.
