I lost a sector on an MFS floppy right in the middle of an
Excel spreadsheet.  No backup, naturally.  I would like to
recover the file.  Any leads on:

1) the format of an Excel file (I have no idea if this is proprietary
or what)

2) how to circumvent the CRC check on the sector read and read in
the sector anyhow (just to see what comes in).

3) Any other suggestions for how to proceed would be welcome.
