I have been having problems with the COM4. The box will come up and run for a while then interface 0 goes down. Testing the interface does not help the problem. We see constant receive on our DSU/CSU (a 56KB line) but transmit is off solid. Unplugging the ribbon cable from the COM4 and plugging it back in while the box is running corrects the problem for a while but it goes down again eventually. It will sometimes run for 2-3 days before failing other times it will fail after only a few minutes. Proteon has sent a replacement COM4 which did not solve the problem. We are running an 8.0 software load. Has anyone else seen this problem and/or know of a solution? John/
