We'd like to connect it to our SGI compute server (basically a 4D machine with no graphics). Thus, we need something that goes into the VMEbus and provides a 16-bit DMA parallel port. It needs to provide DMA writes only; no read DMA is necessary. Something that emulates the DR11-B handshake signals would be ideal, since we could just plug the Celco into it. Something that provides a 16-bit DMA parallel path with different handshaking would require us to build some "glue" logic, but that is still workable. Something with a working driver available would be ideal, but I'm prepared to write one if necessary. Does anyone have experience with such a beast?
