Does anyone know if VT220's (or VT100's) support block mode transmissions
where editting functions (character and line insert and delete) are handled
within the terminal?

Do any applications (under VMS or Ultrix) support this feature (if it exists).
Any editors?  Are any of these alleged applications prevalent?
