Of the 86 email responses received, only 2 were uninterested in online man pages. Over 95% of the remainder wanted man pages and were willing to pay for them. The great majority felt that $50 to $100 was a fair range, with about 20% believing that a $100 to $120 was ok as well. We will consider a program to test an actual willingness to buy man pages for 3.2 as an optional product. In the next two or three months, we hope to test mail a program against our actual 3.2 / 3.0 customer base to check response. If a non self-selecting sample appears willing to pop for man pages we'll see what we can do to provide such a product. Note that AT&T has not yet released MRD for 3.2, and may not do so for some time. NOTE: this is *not* a product announcement! Thanks to all who replied. - Dimitri Rotow
