We are in the process of putting together a database-type online catalog 
for the corporate lbrary here; and despite extensive looking around, I cannot 
identify any reasonably-priced (under 10 kilobucks) Library Management
packages that run in Unix. Why is this? I am aware of the lookbib, sortbib, etc.
utilities that are based on 'refer' (these are for bibliographies); and I 
have been told that AT&T has a program ('library') that lets a user locate
and reserve a book, but this is not commercially available.


Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
