View, CA (415) 960-7300 Lines: 16 Has anyone out there built a Presentation Manager API on top of X or the X Toolkit? What about a set of X Toolkit widgets that emulates the PM look-and-feel? Last week at the Sybase Users Group Meeting in Berkeley, Bill Gates (so it's straight from the horse's mouth :-) said that Microsoft/HP "have implemented" (which I guess mean "coming to a machine near you") what they call PMX, which is the Presentation Manager for Unix, built as an X Toolkit (not sure if the `X' is for `Unix' or `X' ;-). No idea when you can buy it (I asked him later, he said "Dunno, I mean, it's gonna be a product, and it's done") or how much it will cost, but it sounds like exactly what you are looking for. /jordan
