Keywords: X11R2, XLowerWindow, twm Message-ID: <6532@spool.cs.wisc.edu> Date: 25 Oct 88 20:14:08 GMT Sender: news@spool.cs.wisc.edu Reply-To: dave@cs.wisc.edu (Dave Cohrs) Organization: U of Wisconsin CS Dept Lines: 15 I use twm for my window manager (was 3.2, just started using 4.0, the latter is a bit buggy, but it's getting better) and in both versions, if I try to lower an icon, the function is just ignored. By placing some hooks in the code, I see that the XLowerWindow function is actually being called, but the icon happily stays on top of everything. Is there a reasonable explanation for this? -- dave cohrs -- Dave Cohrs +1 608 262-6617 UW-Madison Computer Sciences Department dave@cs.wisc.edu ...!{harvard,ihnp4,rutgers,ucbvax}!uwvax!dave
