There is no way, sorry. GNUS always ask you about it in order to prevent unexpected exit of current newsgroup. Secondly, I just re-subscribed to a group with U from newsgroup selection mode, and now when I go to the group and hit SPC, it checks bogus newsgroups and does nothing else, as if I'd hit b. What's going on? I think the newsgroup you re-subscribed was really bogus. In fact, it is possible to re-subscribe bogus newsgroup which is not yet identified so by GNUS. GNUS automatically runs checking of bogus newsgroups when a bogus newsgroup is selected next time, and remove them from your .newsrc file.
