I hate to report this, but Richard Stallman will not be able to attend
Supercomputing'88.  I was asked to report this by the Program Chair
George Michael.

I hope we can get a representative of the FSF (Free Software Foundation)
as a contrast to the (somewhat stuffy) sales personnel of "major"
computer manufacturers.
