Currently it amounts to about 8 MB on my system. The latest file has not been touched since Sept. 11, 1988. I couldn't find much documentation on the contents of $SPOOL/.rnews, but by looking at the source it appears to be temp files related to unbatching and un-compressing. Why aren't these files going away? Is it safe to delete them now? -- David Beckemeyer (david@bdt.UUCP) | "Lester Moore - Four slugs from a .44 Beckemeyer Development Tools | no Les, no more." 478 Santa Clara Ave. Oakland, CA 94610 | - Headstone at Boot Hill UUCP: {uunet, ucbvax}!unisoft!bdt!david | Tombstone, AZ
