          Abstract

          Over the last decade CAD/CAE Tools have  become  commonplace  for
          most  design  engineers.  Many unresolved problems remain for the
          research community to explore.

          This seminar will first present a historical perspective  on  the
          CAD/CAE Industry.  Next, the shortcomings of current systems will
          be examined.  Finally, possible research  areas  in  CAD/CAE  for
          Electronics will be explored.
