 Lar Kaufman has an excellent point and I commend the articles as
posted!  (I also think I'm going to get a subscription to Bird Talk.)
What I wanted to add is, New York state made selling imported birds
illegal about two years ago.  I picked pet stores on the basis of
which ones were lobbying for the law vs. against it.  It made large
birds rarer and more expensive but I think its a step in the right
direction for the non-human creatures on this planet!
