George Bush, in the first debate, used the Australian film "Crocodile
Dundee" to illustrate a point abpout American culture. This was, of
course, a gaffe.

Peter da Silva, in a recent message, apparently used a show produced by
a British company to illustrate a point about American education. The
show was SPACE:1999. This was, if show was indeed produced by limeys,
a gaffe.
