ARC files will all the files in them make life quite easy. Shar files with the source would make a lot of sense if we had a source group for pcs. I think the average person who has a pc and uses the net should have the ability to handle the information passed over the net no matter what format it is in. There are plenty of pd programs around for unsharing and uudecodeing files. If anybody dosen't have them then send email to me. I have several nice versions of uuencode/decode and shar programs. I have source for all of them also if you're of those persons that dosen't trust binaries. There was quite a discussion about the merits of a newsgroup for msdos sources about 6 months ago. I would like to re-open that discussion. I propose that we discuss the idea of creating a group that would fall along the lines of: comp.sources.dos I think with all the trojans and viruses going around these days we need this group mokre than ever right now.
