   A simple question for the postscript experts out there. What 
   method(s) does postscript make available to store and display 
   arbitrary line drawings? In particular, I am interested in 
   approaches that do NOT treat line drawings at bitmaps, but 
   instead encapsulate line drawings in another format. Does 
   postscript provide a mechanism for decomposing a LINE DRAWING 
   into its constituent parts?

   I would appreciate any literature pointers.
