So I'm sending it here, too.] I recently switched a machine from running with a remote nameserver to having a local /etc/named on the machine. I have just discovered that when I did this, sendmail stopped syslogging on that machine. Just stopped. The only difference is that the nameserver is now local instead of remote. The same domain database is being used. Has anyone seen this sort of problem before? --Pat.
