is there any way to get sendmail to 'talk SMTP' to a program?
ie: my program works as a pseudo-gateway on my unix machine to talk
    to a much stupider machine which I have written a SMTP program
    so I want to just refer to the program as a host

    so I can mail PROGRAM!dumbo  from the unix box

confused?? you know how I feel....
