If you speak to hal so frequently, why aren't you using them as a router? I use an InterGraph InterPro 32C, and while it's not hurting for CPU, I'd just rather not have the maintenance and would prefer to use the disk space for other things. I can't think of any reason they might find it objectionable (but you should probably inquire first).
