We registered KAI.COM over a year and a half ago, about half of our direct uucp connections still don't support domains, and cannot handle replying to messages we generate because of this. The UCB Mail program still generates bogus addresses for replies when the original sender address is in domain format and any other receivers (carbon copies) aren't.
