I have a internal tape drive unit hooked up in floppy drive B's connector that uses DC2000 tapes. I already have a copy of QIC-40 specs (rev E). I already have a program written in C that talks directly with the NEC 765 , and DMA chip and allows read/write/format/seek with floppy drive A. Now, I've modified the program for the tape drive (paramter tables, and physical layout) but have not been able to do anything with the drive yet (ie no tape movement, and activity light never comes on). So, can anyone who has any tape drive hooked up via the floppy cable, send me source code or if small (less than 5K) a binary file (.com or .exe). PS I've already dissassembled approx 5K of the program that came with my unit to no avail since its a 130K exe file.
