You can retrieve the index via FTP (host: sri-nic.arpa, user: anonymous, password: guest, file: rfc:rfc-index.txt) or by electronic mail (send a message to service@sri-nic.arpa with the words RFC INDEX in the subject line). The index shows that RFC 961 has been obsoleted by RFC 991 which has been obsoleted by RFC 1011, "Official Internet Protocols", issued in May, 1987. Sol/NIC -------
