Readers of this newsgroup should be able to provide it. The question is, what can a person with advanced training in mathematics (VERY advanced, like just short of a PhD) do in the computer industry that *does not require programming* ? (No really its not for me - I know how to program :-) ) Don't assume that because of her extensive training she would be uninterested in . I want to know about technical writing, about doing graphics work, about everything possible. If you know, with each type of position, I would also appreciate knowing the general salary range. Many thanks in advance, Lea Fester fester@math.berkeley.edu (preferred) ucbvax!math!fester (screwy)
