The backup worked just fine, but when I try to restore, all the files are placed in the root directory. Needless to say this is less than desirable. I'm running with a stock 1.3 Workbench disk, 1.3 ROM, A2090A and ST4096 with 2 FFS partitions and 1 OFS partition, and ASDG's 2MI card. What am I doing wrong? This restore is being attempted to a completely blank FFS partition from a FFS partition containg the backup files. "Backup -c -f sys: fast1:backup" was the syntax I used to do the backup. -- Blaine Gardner @ Evans & Sutherland 580 Arapeen Drive, SLC, Utah 84108 Here: utah-cs!esunix!blgardne {ucbvax, allegra, decvax}!decwrl!esunix!blgardne There: uunet!iconsys!caeco!pedro!worsel!blaine "Nobody will ever need more than 64K."
