The printer is able to reproduce more than 16 million display colors. For applications such as PCB design and 2-D drafting that require solid lines, the ColorPrint 300 features an 8-color capability to ensure precise line quality. The ColorPrint 300 is based upon the Tektronix Color Image Printer (Model 4693D). Apollo adds a parallel interface controller board, controller board software, and printer device driver software.
