Message-ID: <8811110007.AA07839@richter.mit.edu> Date: 11 Nov 88 00:07:03 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 28 I just got my SR10 distribution, but haven't bothered to unpack it yet as I am not up to dealing with a whole new set of bugs ... and now you tell me that I can't run (much less develop) my GMR based software on SR10 unless I go out and buy a GMR license? WHY IN HELL DIDN'T THEY TELL ME THAT WHEN THEY ASKED ME WHAT DISTRIBUTION MEDIA I WANTED!!!! As has been already pointed out, why would I buy a graphics workstation that doesn't have graphics software? Do I need to buy GPR, too, or is that still bundled with the OS? Does anyone else have the feeling that Apollo is being run by some really outstandingly STUPID S.O.B.'s? I'm also hearing a rumor that the diagnostics in the /sau directories became unbundled (or will soon become unbundled). Can anyone who has actually unpacked SR10 confirm or deny this?
