A couple of days later our machine/net interface got hosed and I missed several days worth of postings. I see that there have been articles posted about AppleLink, because I am seeing the replies and followups, but I've not seen anything addressing my specific question: Why must we adjust the printer port as well as the modem port, and can we operate AppleLink properly without doing so? I also have a question about AppleWorks GS. I just got the update info package from Claris, and it includes a list of product options. My question here is: Is the user interface the same, i.e. does AWGS use the same keyboard commands in addition to pull-down menus? I think AWGS is a mistake if not because there is such a large user community out there, and I think people will object strongly to learning a new command structure after building expertise in AW. The package I got does not address this question at all. -- Sue McKinnell ...!att!ihlpf!suem IH 6N311 x5313 "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
