Nary a constructive answer; one or two sympathetic ones (gee, you couldn't get it to work either.) If no-one can answer the question (what does the error message "File expected" (or something like that) mean, could someone tell me how to work through the bureaucracy at Apple to find someone who can -- I really do need to backup my disk in a format that allows it to be reloaded to itself after it has been reformatted and partitioned to a larger size and so far Backup II is the only thing that I've find that is even supposed to be able to do that.
