For this I need a high level language compiler. The generated code must be fast, and in the language I need to be able to read and write MIDI data. This is what you can do to help me: - Recommend a good compiler/environment. - Tell me about how to get access to the MIDI data; If accessing the data is non-trivial: Is there any library package out there bringing it to a higher level of abstraction? - Share your own experience of MIDI program development on the Atari.
