 Not that I really want to seem completely ignorant, but what exactly is
 GDOS? I know Degas uses it, but their documentation doesn't say what it
 is. The Mark Williams C documentation mentions it here and there, but
 they're not telling any secrets either. And while we're at it, where does
 one find out about this stuff? If it wasn't for MWC, I'd be completely lost!
