Atari claims that they don't have the resources to fix everything that needs fixing (actually, to be fair, most of it would be considered enhancements). maybe Atari could let someone come in and fix the TOS source code for a cut of any profit Atari made from it -- no risk. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the name of teh guy at Michtron who wrtoe juggler, but he seems a likely candidate. We could have a Multi-TOS which multitasks, has more that 8 windows, more that 6 desk accessories, and a reasonably fast screen device driver! --Steve
