My question is regarding 1200 and 2400 baud modems. I would love to have a 2400 baud modem that works good on my C64. I have seen ads for them but I would like to know if anyone out there has tried any 2400 baud modems. Also let me know what terminal program you are running. I currently have a 300 baud modem using Kermit as my vt100 emulator. I would also like information on 1200 baud modems. I have seen an ad for a 2400 baud modem in the Nov. '88 issue of Compute's Gazette. They are selling it for $129.95. The company name is Digital Data Systems in Warren Minnesota. If anyone has any information about this particular modem or the company please let me know. I have also seen an ad in a catalog from TENEX Computer Express selling a 1200 baud modem called VOLKS 6480 Modem for $69.95. I have also seen an ad for the Commodore 1200 modem 1670 for $69.00. I am also interested in buying a monitor. I just want a plain monochrome monitor so I can read the text on the screen in 80 columns. I currently use an old TV that is to blurry to use anymore. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Jeff Blanchet UUCP: uunet!sdrc!diblanch SDRC Cincinnati Ohio
