It turned out that my MS-Kermit v2.30 was broken. It reported transfers as intact, when, in fact, they weren't. Problem was solved by using CPM86 version of Kermit and FILEX'ing them to MuShDOS. Thank heavens for good old RELIABLE cp/m. Now i know why someone was looking for a v2.31 of MS-Kermit. thanx again, [dale] -------
