The NFS diskless feature is new to NFS 4.0. There is a possibility that many of the new features in NFS 4.0 will be incorporated into HP's NFS (ie. directory exporting, the additional export options: read only, user name access lists...), but currently it is unlikely that NFS diskless will be among those added features. The main reason being that HP offers another diskless solution, that is very competitive with Suns (especially their Network Disk). This position is prone to change, due to market demand, and other factors. I encourage you to contact your HP representative and discuss your need for NFS 4.0 diskless, or a comparable solution.
