I recently mentioned (parenthetically) that the color Apple mark at
the top of the DA menu was a color character from a font.

I seem to be wrong.  Can't say I understand exactly how is is done but
I got two pieces mail saying it is (1) an icon (2) stuck there by an
MBar proc using hard coded methods.

I feel much better now, thanks.
