Maybe I'm spoiled by UNIX--and I admit that I haven't seen
Inside Mac--but isn't one obvious solution to keep it on
disks or in a downloadable format, at least for frequent
updates. Then there would be an aftermarket for a utility
which helps find the relevant pages. man and apropos are
very helpful in navigating UNIX; why not implement them
for the Mac?
