It's been a while since I read about this and I didn't pay much attention
at the time since I had no problems, but my 512ke recently began
squealing after being on for some time.  I vaguely remember this
having to do with a bad flyback transformer.  My question is, how
bad will this get (i.e. will it just be annoying or will my Mac implode)?
Also, what should I expect the cost to be to repair it?  Please email
replies...
