That's just the signature resource for the application. I gather it is supposed to mean "no viruses" or "anti-virus". Anyway, if you do a get info (within resedit) on Interferon you will notice that the =VIR string is the creator string for the application. It probably never got changed when the author upgraded from version 2.1 to version 3.0 - an easy thing to forget. Nothing to worry about, this time... Wade Blomgren wade@sdacs.ucsd.edu
