See page 137 of the June 1987 MacWorld. At that time (things may have changed) there were 4 Apple-taught developer courses. You did *not* have to be a Apple Certified Developer to take them. The courses were: (1)Intro to Macintosh Programming (1 day seminar) -- $325. (2)Developing a Macintosh Program (3 day seminar) -- $770. (3)Using MPW (1 day seminar) -- $325.
