I don't think there is much danger in using magnesium cabinets
in the Next computer.  I remember that about 15 years ago when I was
looking for a large extension ladder that Sears sold both aluminum
and magnesium models.  The magnesium models, to be sure, were very
expensive.  My Sears aluminum ladder had an Underwriters certification
on it. I don't whether the magnesium ones did.  I imagine someone is
still selling such ladders.
