King) Organization: Allen-Bradley Company, Inc; Industrial Computer Division, Highland Heights, OH Lines: 9 I have a need to send/receive multicast packets on our ethernet. There are two questions I have before I go hacking at the kernel. 1) Is there a generally accepted socket ioctl for doing this? If so what is it called. 2) Does anyone have any idea how to put a DEC DEUNA into multicast reception mode? It sure would be nice if DEC sold documentation to their controllers. The O/S in question is BSD 4.3-tahoe. Bill King {decvax, uunet, pyramid}!abvax!wrk
