We have a fairly complex product, and are interested in being able to easily create test suites and repeat error sequences. We would like to minimize the redundancy of manual repetition of this task, and are looking for an automated mechanism. Has anyone developed, or otherwise know of, software to record the XEvent stream and replay it from a file?? This sounds trivial, except I don't believe that the XIDs in stored events would be valid during the next execution of the program. Any solutions or guidance would be appreciated, thanks!! -Jim Becker {world} sun!athsys!jim
